In this episode, I sat down with Danial Hakim who shared his journey of being diagnosed with osteosarcoma at 7 years old, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer. After going through exhaustive treatment, he returned to the sport he loved — swimming. It was not a smooth sail but through hard work and determination, Danial went on to represent Brunei as a paraswimmer, proudly bagging medals!
Danial’s story will move and inspire anyone facing their own battles, reminding us all that anything is possible as long as you have the will to keep going.
